I think it's great how in depth you can read books that seem simple. I had never thought of connecting social change to this book, but your description helps me see how it connects. I agree that it's very important to recognize people have power in different ways, and the key to living in a diverse world is respecting people for themselves, regardless of their size or appearance.
I love that this book doesn't have any words and that your description of the content plus how to use this in the classroom really opened up my eyes to how we, as teachers, can really do anything with literature. I agree with Patricia's comment above too - I never though of connecting social change to this book but you really did an amazing job of describing how to use that and make a clear connection, so thank you for that!
The book , " The lion and the mouse " is a great book focus in the values solidarity and cooperation. This book allow to children to create their owns history because this book have not text.
